I could tell you about a mishap occurred yesterday and that meant a race to catch the bus, a small fly and my bruised eye. But I prefer to give my opinion on a topic, or almost, or air conditioning in the subways and buses.
A politician, which shall remain nameless, wants to cool their subway cars. Is what I'm wrong or Montreal is a city located in the heart of the Sahara? We are in Quebec. People complain chialent winter and when it gets too hot. It does however not so hot for a long time. What good is spending huge sums to cool the transit in which we are about seated 10 minutes? And you, yes, you who wears two jackets, a scarf, gloves, snowmobile suit and a set of astronauts over, what is your problem? Removes a few layers and you will see it is not as hot as it looks! Some say it is hotter because there are many people in the subway. Perhaps, but if nobody takes it, what good is it? Lucky for you that you do not live in Japan! There, you would have anything to complain!
We could require individual air-conditioned small car and conducted by robots from the future in our underground tunnels. We'd be so good. And I think we could also put Montreal in a world conditioned too! Think of the people who must walk under the scorching heat of the sun to get to the subway!
As for buses, is anybody supposed to really see the benefit of air conditioning? Open the windows, that's all! But no, I swear it's not complicated, there are probably even written instructions near the windows for people who are not well developed on a rational level. Some possible solutions for the less resourceful:
1) Avoid rush hours if possible, there will be fewer people in transport;
2) Move closer to your job if it is not in the jungle;
3) Try walking, walking does not kill you.
So now, follow these simple rules and my travels will go much better!
